23 December: Arrival in Rovaniemi
Clients will be met on arrival at Rovaniemi Airport and transferred by shared shuttle to Vaattunki Wilderness Resort. The property is nestled by a river at the end of a scenic forest road—perfect for those looking to disconnect and embrace nature. Accommodation is offered in either contemporary Panorama Huts or traditional Riverside Apartments. Dinner is included this evening.
24 December: At Leisure or Optional Santa Experience
After breakfast, clients can enjoy the resort's peaceful surroundings or set out on the cross-country ski trails. An optional excursion, The Hidden Place of Santa, is available for those looking for a unique Christmas Eve experience. This off-the-beaten-path journey takes travellers deep into the woods to meet a reindeer herder, the mythical Forest Queen, and of course, Santa Claus himself—an enchanting experience with festive activities for all ages. Dinner is served at the resort.
25 December: Winter Activities or Relaxation
Following breakfast, the day is free for clients to create their own winter magic. From snowmobiling and ice fishing to husky safaris and skiing, a wide range of activities can be arranged on request. Alternatively, clients can simply relax and enjoy the surrounding Arctic landscape. Dinner is included.
26 December: Santa Claus Village & Snowman World
Breakfast is followed by a visit to Santa Claus Village, with shuttle transfers to and from the resort included. Clients can explore shops, send postcards from Santa’s official post office, and enjoy entrance to Snowman World—an Arctic playground complete with ice skating, slides, and snow structures. Lunch options such as Santamus or the Snow Restaurant are available for purchase on-site. Dinner is served back at Vaattunki.
27 December: Departure
After breakfast, a scheduled shuttle transfer will return clients to Rovaniemi Airport for their onward journey.
