Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavík
Collect your rental car (not included) at Keflavik Airport and drive to Reykjavík. Start the journey with a visit to Magic Ice Bar, where ice sculptures and drinks served in ice glasses provide a sub-zero experience. A winter poncho and gloves keep you warm as you take in the frozen artistry.

Day 2: Reykjavík – Vik
Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the morning exploring Reykjavík before heading along Iceland’s stunning south coast to Vik. A detour to the Golden Circle is recommended, with stops at Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, and Geysir. For an extra icy adventure, a snowmobile tour near Gullfoss can be added (not included).

Day 3: Vik
A day of icy adventures begins with a super jeep tour to Katla Glacier, where a short glacier hike leads to an ice cave of 800-year-old ice, showcasing striking black, white, and blue formations. The adventure continues with a hunt for secret waterfalls and hidden glacier canyons before returning to Vik, with a final stop at a dramatic black sand beach.

Day 4: Vik – Öraefi
After breakfast, continue along the south coast to Öraefi, located between two of Iceland’s most breathtaking natural attractions: Skaftafell National Park and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Day 5: Glacier Lagoon
A unique adventure awaits at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where kayaking among drifting icebergs offers a spectacular view of the vast Vatnajökull ice cap. This unforgettable experience provides an up-close look at the natural wonder of Iceland’s icy landscapes.

Day 6: Glacier Hike
After breakfast, embark on a guided glacier hike to Falljökull, an impressive outlet of the Vatnajökull ice cap. Navigate through a landscape of brilliant blue ice formations, with the possibility of entering the chaotic icefall that cascades down towards the ocean, making for a thrilling farewell to Iceland’s glaciers.

Day 7: Öraefi – Reykjavík
Breakfast at the hotel before the return journey to Reykjavík, offering a final chance to take in Iceland’s stunning landscapes.
