This tour offers a scenic journey along Norway’s southern coastline, combining vibrant cities with dramatic natural beauty. Beginning in the capital, the route continues westward through fjords, islands, and charming fishing villages, providing an ideal introduction to Southern Norway’s highlights.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Oslo
One night of accommodation will be provided in a centrally located hotel in Oslo city centre.
Day 2: Journey to Flåm
The day begins with a train ride from Oslo to Flåm aboard the Bergensbanen and the renowned Flåm Railway. From Flåm, a fjord cruise through the picturesque Nærøyfjord leads to Gudvangen. A bus transfer to Voss and a train onward to Bergen are included. Evening arrival in Bergen, with two nights of accommodation in a centrally located hotel.
Day 3: Bergen
Day at leisure in Bergen to explore the city or enjoy optional excursions.
Day 4: Bergen – Stavanger
A scenic ferry ride from Bergen to Stavanger is scheduled today. Shuttle transfer from the port to the city centre is included. Two nights of accommodation in Stavanger are provided.
Day 5: Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen)
A three-hour fjord cruise through the Lysefjord is included, offering striking views of the famous Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), towering 600 metres above the water.
Day 6: Stavanger – Kristiansand
Travel by train from Stavanger to Kristiansand. One night of accommodation will be provided in a centrally located hotel.
Day 7: Kristiansand – Oslo
The final stretch of the journey includes a train ride back to Oslo. One night of accommodation in Oslo city centre is included.
Day 8: Departure
Departure according to individual travel plans.
